This week I decided I was going to cover Jomar Valentino’s 1989 Supra. This car was a Craigslist rescue and has been through a lot with Jomar. It came with a body kit, leaky intercooler and had some of the water hoses replaced with garden hoses and then some.. I know WTF?! The interior, luckily, was in excellent condition, Toyota sure knows how to make a comfy bucket seat. Anyways since then the car has received nothing but Tender Love and Care. Intercooler and hoses fixed. He replaced the front and rear bumpers with original JDM ones and got them painted, but he did keep the Kaminari sideskirts that definitely give it a more unique and aggressive stance. We both agree the mk3 is arguably the best looking Supra body style(sorry mk4 fans). On to pics and specs.
Body
•Kaminari Sideskirts
•Hatch Visor

•HKS Intake
•HKS blow-off valve

These wheels were not easy to get a hold of, the fronts with those specific specs were back-ordered for months and it wasn’t until he found Tire Central that he was able to get a hold of them. So if you need help getting a hold of some wheels I suggest you give them a holler, nothing but good reviews on Yelp!
I love seeing this car roll into meets, it’s definitely an attention getter. It’s not every day you see a clean mk3 Supra. This one was definitely done right, Props to Jomar for keeping it clean and simple. Keep an eye out, the owner tells me a 2jz powerplant is definitely called for as soon as he allocates the funds for it. We all know how that is! That about wraps it up! Try to say what’s up to him if you see him around, really chill guy with an equally cool ride.
TRD POWAH!!

I LOVE YOUR CAR JOMAR. This Isnt Daniel. So don’t ask.
Just a matter of time before the headgasket on that 7M-GTE decides to take a permanent vacation. I’d say swap a 1JZ or a 2JZ into that thing and call it a day…
